We’re back at it again! The Lookout Arts Quarry is gearing up yet again to host our annual immersive arts festival. The time to prepare is now. Here is your guide if you are planning on performing, installing art, or buying tickets.
Performer Applications Open until May 1st 🖐️
The excitement is big, perform at Sh’BANG! Artist applications are still open but the clock is ticking. Send us your tunes, and your big ideas! We’ve 5 stages and more than a couple thousand ears and eyes eager to cheer you on. Calling musicians of all types, enchanting circus artists, provocative burlesque oddballs and popup puppeteers 👽
Late applications may be accepted, but will drawn last for booking consideration—so don’t delay. Invitations will be sent throughout May and in most cases will be done by June 1st. Tell your friends, show us your apps!
Ticket Launch Announcement 🚀
Get your buzzers ready, Early Bird tickets launch on Sunday, May 4th, at 10:00am PDT. The cheapest tier usually sells out very quickly (a few hours!), after which there will be Tier 2 discounts available until they, too, go bye bye bye…
There are also super popular MEAL DEALS 🍴 available once again. We nourish you with 7 full meals, mindfully sourced meat & garden produce, some even grown at the Quarry! They are limited, so harvest yours now and feel free to share it with friends.
🚨 New idea alert! We are delaying the sale of parking passes to help folks make their carpooling plans and continue efforts to minimize the number of cars coming to the ‘BANG. So lookout later in the year: we’ll release and announce Parking Pass availability (but, as always, the most funnest thing to do is get that Clown Car Discount or ride your bike for free parking!).
Art Installation Applications ⚙️
Send us your installation ideas, art cars, projects and life-size games! Did you make a 42-foot tall puppet of a dust mite that breaths fire and glows only when approached by humans with open eyes? A stop motion film about the life of a river stone and robots that play drums? An art car covered in children’s toys (sound familiar)? We love those kinetic, sonic, and well-lit things that make jaws drop and smiles glow.
Volunteers and more 💪
Volunteer applications are coming in May! Be part of the team of folks building this magical festival—make friends and gain new skills (or generously share your expertise to bring it all to life). PLUS you can get a free pass! Whaaat! You have a couple options: pre-festival (Sh’Build) and during the fest.

The Lookout Arts Quarry has been producing Sh’Bang for 18 years now! We’re excited to round out the summer with you and bring another slew of new artists to the Sh’Bang experience!
